He entered the 1st ATP tournament in Delray Beach in 2015, where he reached the 2nd round. Rublev participated in his first Masters 1000 entry in Miami Open, where he defeated Pablo Carreno Busta, but, failed to John Isner in 2015. He lost in the 2nd round to the Italian player Fabio Fognini at the China Open in Beijing, later having beaten the Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov in the 1st round in the 2019 campaign.
