Magda Linette’s tennis career and news
She made her first career in a Grand Slam tournament in May 2011, playing in the qualifying rounds.
Linette got some of her best victories of the season by beating Eleni Daniilidou in Limoges, Monica Puig, and Karolína Plíškova in October and November 2012.
After, she defeated Julia Cohen, runner-up of the previous edition, then Kristýna Plíšková to extend the quarterfinals where she helped form a controversial retirement of Ons Jabeur in 2013.
She played a series of WTA events. At Guangzhou in September 2014, she reached her 1st WTA doubles, partnering with Alizé Cornet. Linette reached the quarterfinals in 2016 at the Pan Pacific Open and Katowice Open.
