Cressy made his Grand Slam main draw tournament at the US Open 2020 where he reached the 2nd round later defeating Jozef Kovalík as a wildcard contestant.
He qualified for the Australian Open 2021 and reached the 2nd round by defeating Taro Daniel 2021.
After qualifying for the main draw, he won a five-set match with a fifth-set tiebreak against two-time US Open semifinalist Pablo Carreño Busta at the US Open 2021 after coming back from two groups to love down to victory.
