Rune started his tennis career at the age of 6 to inspire his sister Alma.
He won the title of Danish U12 champion with Clara Tauson in 2014.
Rune played in ATP singles in the top 100 at world No. 99 on 17 January 2022 which makes him the second youngest player after Carlos Alcaraz.
