He won his 1st Challenger in Sacramento by defeating Robert Kendrick, in October 2008. Millman was awarded a wildcard hooked on the Brisbane International 2011 main draw where he lost to parallel Australian Matt Ebden.
After, he was awarded a main attraction wildcard into the Australian Open 2013. In the 2nd round, he met World No.3 Andy Murray and lost in three sets.
He was replaced by national and increasing star Nick Kyrgios who had a wildcard for qualification disks.
