On 29 June 2010, Houston mayor Annise Parker declared, to be “Anthony Rendon Day” in Houston.
on 4 June 2013, Rendon was recalled by the Nationals and replaced 2nd baseman, Danny Espinosa.
Rendon hit his first career grand slam off Williams Perez, On 6 September 2016 which provided the Nationals with a vectoring margin of the win over the division rival Atlanta Braves.
He batted .308 374/.535 with 24 home runs and led the National League with 44 doubles in 2018.
