On 24 August 2014, Aboubakar signed for Porto, validating a four-year deal for a fee of €3 million, equivalent to 30% of his economic privileges. In LigaPro, Aboubakar played the full 90 minutes of FC Porto on 18 August 2019 B’s 1–1 home draw with Varzim S.C.
After, he signed with the Saudi club Al-Nassr, on 8 June 2021.
