Laura Siegemund’s tennis career and news
She won three singles and two doubles titles on ITF Circuit but then fell in the WTA singles qualifying round in 2013. In 2015, she won three WTA doubles and won one single and one double on ITF Circuit.
She made an upset by reaching the final as a qualifier in April 2016, losing to compatriot and defending champion Angelique Kerber.
She reached as a qualifier in the 3rd round at the Madrid Open 2016. Later beating ninth-seed Mirjana Lučić-Baroni and Svetlana Kuznetsova, she lost to Sorana Cîrstea.
Siegemund made her return to the WTA tennis at the Charleston Open 2018. She lost in the 2nd round to tenth seed Naomi Osaka in April 2018.
