Yastremska’s tennis record
She made her junior Grand Slam career debut at the Australian Open 2016, where she reached the singles quarterfinals.
She won the first professional career ITF title at the $25k event in March 2016. After, she made her WTA main draw debut at the Istanbul Cup when at the age of 15 years.
She made Grand Slam’s main draw debut and was upset in her initial round match by qualifier Karolína Muchová. Yastremska made her advance on the WTA Tour in her last two tournaments.
Yastremska improved to win another title at the Internationaux de Strasbourg. She said No. 11 Aryna Sabalenka in the semifinals and then defeated No. 24, Caroline Garcia, in another third-set tiebreak. After, Yastremska was placed in a group with Donna Vekić and No. 10 Kiki Bertens. After both she and Bertens defeated Vekić in their opening games, she lost to Bertens.
