Footballer Mandanda started his league debut for Le Havre and did not concede a goal till the fourth match in August 2005. He joined Marseille on a permanent four-year deal, on 5 March 2008.
Crystal Palace team proclaimed that they had completed the signing of Mandanda transfer from Marseille. He played just nine appearances. After, he returned to Marseille from Crystal Palace on a three-year deal for 3 million euros on 11 July 2017.
Mandanda took part in the French A squad pre-selection in 2007 for the first time. On 5 February 2008, he played in a friendly with France B against Congo DR team where he was substituted at halftime. Besides, he made his full international team debut in a 2-0 win against Ecuador, on 27 May 2008.
