Prajnesh Gunneswaran’s tennis career and news
He reached his first ATP Challenger singles final tour at Pune Challenger in October 2016. In April 2017, Gunneswaran made his Davis Cup career debut for India against Uzbekistan.
He lost in the final qualifying round at French Open. Though he was chosen as a lucky loser later Nick Kyrgios withdrew from the competition, he could not contribute to the main draw.
At the Australian Open 2019, he won the succeeding competition and debuted in the main draw of a Grand Slam tournament. Gunneswaran lost in the 1st round to Frances Tiafoe.
