Footballer Araujo started his first senior career by joining Cobresols on 13 July 2011 first time. He played as a starter again in his side’s 1-1 draw with University go deported in the second match. In January 2012 he left to Jonesport Huancayo.
He signed a four-year deal with Serbian club Red Star and was imposed also his jersey number 20 on 29 July 2013. On 19 October 2013, Araujo made his first debut for the club in a 5-1 win over Novi Pazar.
Besides, Araujo becomes the regular footballer in Alianza Lima club in the following seasons later his return from Serbia team.
He has played in the Peruvian under-17 football team that finished fourth at the South American Under-17 football Championship 2011. And he played under-20 team at the South American Youth Championship 2013.
After, he received a call for the Peru National football team on 27 March 2013. On November 2014, he made finally his debut for Peru in a friendly game against Paraguay team.
Copa America Career
He was named in the Copa America 2019 as a Defender of the Peru team.
