On 20 May 2019, Munar had a high-career ATP singles ranking and achieved No. 52. And he has a high-career ATP doubles ranking of No. 149 achieved on 10 February 2020.
At the French Open 2018 and in only his ninth ATP or ITF tour Munar came from two sets down to overthrow compatriot David Ferrer in the 1st round. Then, he lost to Novak Djokovic in the 2nd round.
