He finished in the regular-season money list, which received him a PGA Tour card for the season of 2017.
He shot an unsatisfactory, but, lost to Xander Schauffele 72 in the fourth round. Muñoz played well on the Web.com Tour, with two finishes and a 3rd-place finish, to end up 12th list, in 2018.
Muñoz won his first PGA Tour, winning the Sanderson Farms Contest in Jackson, Mississippi, on 22 September 2019 and he won in a playoff over Im Sung-Jae.
