Christian Cueva is a Peruvian professional footballer who plays for Brazilian club Sao Paulo FC and the Peruvian team as a midfielder. Cueva spent his early career in his native Peru with Universidad San Martin and Univar Cesar Vallejo.
He was close to signing for Brazilian club Ponte Preta, in January 2013. But later month he moved to Chilean Club Union Espanola. In August 2013. he signed on loan for Spanish Club Rayo Vallecano.
