Bundee’s Rugby Union career, and National career

Aki started his rugby career in 2011 with the Manukau club. He made his debut in the tour of the 2011 ITM Cup and scored three tries in 9 matches. On 8 October 2014, Aki played against Auckland and his club won 41–18.

Aki joined New Zealand’s best club Chiefs in 2013. He had participated in the Super Rugby season 2013 in the Chiefs club. In 13 games he scored scoring five tries.

Then he joined the professional club Connacht in April 2014. Again he contracts with Connacht from 2016 to 2020. Again he contracts with Connacht from 2016 to 2020. At this time he became eligible as an Irish player because of his residence for 3 years in Ireland.

Aki made his international debut against South Africa on 11 November 2017, and Ireland won 38–3.
