Pau Gasol’s basketball career and records
Gasol was selected to play in the NBA All-Star game in Houston on 9 February 2006. Memphis traded Gasol to Los Angeles along with 2010 a second-round draft pick for Kwame Brown, Aaron McKie, and Javaris Crittenton on 1 February 2008.
He made his first lakers appearance in a match against the New Jersey Nets on 5 February 2008.
In a victory against the Utah Jazz, he scored his 10,000th career point on 2 January 2009. He was named Western Conference player of the season later helping the Lakers to an 11-2 record for the month of February.
He started a 3-year deal with the Lakers worth $64.7 million on 24 December 2009.
