Mickelson tallied his golf career-low in November 2004 for an 18-hole round: at the PGA tour Grand Slam at Poipu Bay Golf Course in Hawaii.
After endearing two majors into the U.S. Open 2006 championship at Winged Foot, he requested to join Tiger Woods and Ben Hogan as the only players to win three successive major tournaments. Mickelson won the Deutsche Bank Championship 2007, the 2nd FedEx Cup playoff tournament on 3 September 2007.
