Evgeni Malkin is an international professional Russian Ice Hockey team player. His height is 6 feet 3 inches. He was born on 31 July 1986. His full name is Evgeni (Yevgeni), Vladimirovich Malkin.
Malkin has competed for Russia in two IIHF World U-18 Championships and three IIHF World U-20 Championships, in 2012. He was awarded the Hart Trophy and Ted Lindsay award in 2012.

It appeared the 20-year-old Malkin had come to a compromise with Metallurg and started a deal that would have kept him in Russia on 7 August 2006 until May 2007. On 5 September 2006, he was able to sign an entry-level contract with the Penguins in Russia.
On 20 September 2006, in his first pre-season game with the Penguins, he collided with teammate John LeClair. Afterward, his NHL debut would be delayed against the New Jersey Devils until 18 October, he scored in which his first goal VS Martin Brodeur.
After then, On 3 January 2008, he filed his first NHL hat trick, against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Besides, he started a five-year contract $43.5 million extension with Pittsburgh on 2 July 2008. On 18 October 2008, Malkin began the 2008-09 season by scoring his 200th NHL point with an assist to Sidney Crosby.

Malkin’s injury of the career
After, missing five games due to a left knee injury on 4 February 2011. And then he returned to play against the Buffalo Sabres on 4 February 2011. It has proclaimed Malkin would undergo knee surgery on 9 February.
At the IIHF World U-18 Championships in Yaroslavl Malkin made his first international appearance with Russia. He was selected to play for the Russian Olympic team at the Vancouver Olympic 2010 games, where he led the team in Russia.
