The Delhi capitals will aim to make its place in the twelve editions of the Indian Premier League (IPL). With a new name, new colours and new crest, after nearly a decade of bottom-up promotion.
Formerly known as Delhi Daredevils, this franchise is now jointly owned by GMR Group and JSW Group. In December 2018, the team changed its name from Delhi Daredevils to Delhi capitals.
