Footballer Cleverley joined Leicester City on loan of the 2008-09 season and his shirt number 7 on 16 January 2009. He scored his first goal in Leicester City some days later in a 4-1 win over Walsall on 3 February 2009.
Cleverley signed for Watford on loan and was able to play in their match to Nottingham Forest on 18 August 2009.
