Naoya Inoue boxing career and news
Inoue captured the Japanese light flyweight title from the WBA’s number three ranked contender on 25 August 2013, IBF, future WBA, and Ring magazine light flyweight winner, Ryoichi Taguchi.
In December 2017, Inoue stated that he moved to bantamweight in the future but he would pursue unifying titles against another junior bantamweight titleholder.
Inoue was defeated by Jason Molony in October 2018. On 12 February 2019, the fight was established to take place at the SSE Hydro in Scotland on 18 May 2019.
After, he was imaginary to face WBO bantamweight on 25 April 2020, by John Riel Casimero before that the fight was canceled because of COVID-19 diseases.
On 21 October 2021, it was proclaimed that Inoue would be defending his bantamweight world labels against Aran Dipaen in Tokyo.
