Nampalys Mendy footballer’s Club, Goal, and International career
Mendy signed a three-year deal with Monaco until June 2013 on April 27, 2010, after signing his first professional contract. Mendy made his professional debut for the team against Lyon on August 7, 2010. He received a yellow card in the second half after playing the whole 90 minutes. Mendy played a key role in Monaco’s promotion back to Ligue 1 during the 2012-13 season.
Despite a good season, Mendy opted to leave Monaco when his contract ran out at the end of the season.
