Sanó and Eddie Rosario were endorsed to the New Britain Rock Cats of the Class AA Eastern League, on 9 June 2013.
MLB.com ranked him the third-best view in the league, and 2nd in the Twins organization, behind only Byron Buxton of the 2013 season.
