Footballer Rojo started a five-year deal with Spartak Moscow in December 2010. On 20 April 2011, he scored his only goal for Spartak team, of a 2-1 defeat of Krasnodar in the quarter-finals.
Then he joined from Spartak to Sporting CP for a fee of 3.5 million, starting a four-year deal in July 2012. He was sent off in a Primeira Liga match over Beleneses, but match holds on for a 1-0 victory on 13 April 2014.
Then, he joined the English Club Manchester United for a fee of 20 million on 19 August 2014.
