Pacquiao boxing career and awards
In May 2010, Pacquiao has participated in basketball, TV hosting, Business, music recording, acting and politics. He was elected as a senator and will serve a six-year term until 2022 in June 2016.
He proclaimed his intentions to join the Philippine Basketball Association as the coach of Kia Motors basketball team on 17 April 2014. On 16 January 2009, he made his first debut in the Smart-Liga Pilipinas Conference.

Politics
He was officially proclaimed that the congressman of the lone district of Sarangani on 13 May 2010. He took his oath of office as a congressman before Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonio T. Carpio on 28 June 2010.
On 5 October 2015, during the Sarangani’s 1st district state of the district address, he formally declared that Pacquiao running for senator under the United Nationalist Alliance Party of Vice-president Jejomar Binay.

He became the first Filipino athlete to appear on a postage stamp.
