It was proclaimed at an event in Australia on 29 January. The competition of the ICC World cup 2020 will be played 18 October to 15 November in 2020. The first match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2020 will be playing Sri Lanka VS Ireland in Geelong.

There are two groups of the ICC T20 men’s World Cup 2020. T20 World Cup 2020 Group teams list has given below
Group 1. Australia, Pakistan, New Zealand and West Indies, Group A Team 1 and Group B Tean 2.
Group 2: England, India, Afghanistan and South Africa, Group B Team 1, Group A Team 2.
Oman and Ireland will join Sri Lanka of the first round in Group A, with the four teams in Geelong from October 18-22. Scotland and Namibia will join Bangladesh team in Group B, with their matches from October 19-23 in Hobert.
