Hector Moreno is an international Mexican team player. He was born on 17 January 1988 and his birthplace Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico. His full name is Hector Alfredo Moreno Herrera.
Moreno has played in the Culiacan, Sinaloa, Mexico club and Mexico national football team. Usually, his playing position is Centre-back. His height is 6 feet 0 inches or 6’0”.

Footballer Moreno made his professional debut during the Clausura tournament 2006, as an 88th-minute substitute on 22 January, for Gerardo Galindo in the 1-0 win over Santos Laguna.
Basically, he transferred to Dutch club AZ in a $4.5 million contract on 13 December 2007. He won his first Eredivisie title with AZ in April 2009. Also, he gave Alkmaar 2-1 wins over Feyenoord by scoring a header from a corner-kick on 7 February 2010.
He would score his second league goal in a 1-2 loss to Valencia, on 3 December. PSV club announced the signing of Moreno, upon his change to the Eredivisie. He signed a four-year for a fee of 5 million with the PSV club.
Moreno joined Italian side Roma on a four-year deal on 13 June 2017. Spanish and Real Sociedad announced that transfer of Moreno from Rome for #6 million, signing with the club on 31 January 2018.
He has played in the Mexican under-17, under-20 football team. Moreno played the first match at the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2007 against the Gambia. On 17 October 2007, Moreno made his Mexico senior team in a friendly match with Guatemala.
He was the part of the 23-man squad in the FIFA World Cup 2010. He scored his first goal for Mexico in a 2-1 over EI Salvador in a World Cup qualifying match in 2014.
