Elena Rybakina’s tennis career and news
She made her WTA career debut in October 2017 at the Kremlin Cup 2017, where she reached the main draw through succeeding but lost in the opening round to Irina-Camelia Begu.
Rybakina upset world No. 7 Caroline Garcia in three sets later saving a match point in the second set despite losing in the next round.
She entered her 1st Grand Slam qualifying draw at the US Open 2018 but did not reach the main draw playing for Kazakhstan.
