Dan Evans tennis career and news
Evens is the British No.5 player as a part of the Britain Davis Cup squad for the Europe Zone Group and played with Joshua Goodall, Andy Murray, Ken Skupski, James Ward, and Ross Hutchins in September 2009. Dominic Inglot and Evens accompanied the nominated British team of Kyle Edmund, Andy Murray, James Ward, and Jamie Murray in 2015.
He joined the rest of the Davis Cup at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Show, where they won the Team of the Year Award in 2015. On 13 January 2020, he started the 2020 season by competing in the ATP Tour and reached a new high career.
From February 20 to July 20 all tennis and other sports were off for the COVID-19 pandemic but, then started tennis successfully.
He reached the third round of the Wimbledon Championships 2021. Later, scoring straight-set wins against Dušan Lajović and Feliciano López, In the third round of the event, Evans lost to Sebastian Korda.
