Murray joined Munster in 2010 and made his debut against Connacht on 18 April 2010. In the Heineken Cup 2011, he played against Northampton Saints. It was his first Heineken tour game.
He received the honor of Man-of-the-Match in Heineken Cup against Scarlets in round 4 on 18 December 2011.
