Conway was named to the Leinster club in the season of 2009-10. He signed a professional contract with Leinster in 2010.
On 20 February 2010, he made his professional debut against Scarlets. Conway played in the Heineken Cup on 13 October 2012 against Exeter Chiefs.
Conway signed with Munster on 25 January 2013 for two seasons. On 13 September 2013, he played against Zebre which was his debut game.
Conway participated in the tour of the European Rugby Champions Cup pool game in 2015. In the Pro14 tour, he played his 100th game against South Africa in round 2.
