Newton’s NFL team career
Newton was named NFL MVP on 6 February 2016. He was ranked as the top player in the NFL career by his peers on the Top NFL 100 players of 2016.
In a loss at the Atlanta Falcons, he suffered a concussion on a two-point conversion and missed the rest of the game on 2 October in 2016. Basically, he completed 52.9 percent of his passes marking the worst career in that category for the 2016 season.
