Colorado Avalanche career and contract
Ice Hockey player MacKinnon’s signed to his first NHL contract a three-year entry-level contract on 9 July 2013. On 12 October 2013, he scored his first NHL goal, against Michal Neuvirth of Washington during the 2nd period.
After, MacKinnon recorded his first career NHL hat-trick in a 5-4 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning on 22 February 2015. Besides, as a restricted free agent he re-signed with the Avalanche agreeing to a 7-year, $44.1 million deal on 8 July 2016.
