Carlos Salcido is an international Mexican football team player. He was born on 2 April 1980 and his birthplace is Ocotlan, Jalisco, Mexico. Salcido has played in the Guadalajara, PSV, Fulham, and Tigres UANL club and also Mexico national football team.

Mexican team footballer Salcido began his career at his nearby home team Chivas. On 10 July 2006, he signed a four-year contract with Dutch Champions PSV Eindhoven. And he scored his first goal in Europe, a spectacular long-distance goal in a match with Excelsior Rotterdam that ended 4-0 on 18 November 2006.
After their best performance with Mexico when he joined the FIFA World Cup 2010. It was announced that Fulham had agreed to a 3.6 Million EUR deal with PSV to sign the player on 26 August 2010.
