Partizan club
Markovic joined in 2006 Partizan club after playing for the youth selections of Borax Cacak. Aleksandar Stanojevic coach promoted Markovic to the first football team ahead of the final match on 29 May 2011. In fact, he was used as a second-half substitute for Joseph Kizito win 2-1 in his football teams.
Markovic signed his professional first contract with Partizan team on 11 July 2011. On 13 August 2011, he scored his first goal in a league match versus FK Novi Pazar.
Liverpool club
He has played in the popular football club, Liverpool. Markovic made his competitive first debut on 25 August in the second match of the Premier League season in Liverpool.
