Kužmová reached the 2016 US Open final but she lost to Kayla Day. As a senior tennis player, she reached US Open 2019 semifinal along with Aliaksandra Sasnovich. But they lost with Victoria Azarenka and Ashleigh Barty in this tournament.

When Kužmová reached the 2017 US Open also made her Grand Slam debut. At the main draw, she lost to Venus Williams.

At the Australian Open, Kužmová played for the first time but she was not ready so she lost to the main draw first round with Elise Mertens.

Kužmová returns to play the WTA tour, Swiss Open, and Moscow River Cup, though she defeated Martina Trevisan she lost to Veronika Kudermetova.
