Footballer Rui started his career at local Vasco de Gama Atletico club in the first career. In fact, Parma started with Rui for a fee of 595.000 on a five-year deal in June 2012.
After, he moved to Empoli F.C for a fee of 550,000 on 28 June 2013. After, Parma gave up the remaining 50% rights of Rui to Empoli in June 2014. And he signed by A.S Roma in a temporary contract for a loan fee of 3 million loans on 13 July 2017.
