Zverev’s tennis record and the latest news

In the year 2016, Zverev’s first ATP event was the Australian Open, where he had a draw against No.2 Andy Murray.

He upset No.13 Marin Cilic during the singles event, in the highest-ranked played he had defeated in the match.

He upset Top No.5 Rafael Nadal in the fourth round in 2016. At the St. Petersburg Open, and later the US Open, Zverev returned to Europe and won his first career ATP title.

He noted his first victory over No. 9 Berdych in the semifinals and defeated Stan Wawrinka in the final, coming back from 0–3 down in the third set.

He was grouped with Marin Cilic, Roger Federer, and Jack Sock at the ATP Finals in 2017.

Zverev started to turn his season around following Wimbledon in 2019. He touched the semifinal match of the German Open and the quarterfinals at the Canadian Open in 2019.

After, Zverev was seeded seventh at the Australian Open 2020. He defeated Marco Cecchinato in straight sets later in the match.
