Sock entered his first qualifying match for an ATP tournament at the Miami Masters 2010.
His real breakthrough originated in the mixed doubles, though, where he advanced to the final with Melanie Oudin, by defeating the defending winner Bob Bryan and Liezel Huber in the 2nd round match in 2011.
